Rising bass house artist Capozzi continues on her path of domination with the latest EP in her discography, The Dark Side.
Since first dropping “SOS” back in 2019, Capozzi has found a home in the hearts of house music lovers looking to bust a move. Releasing stunners on labels including Night Bass, AFTR:HRS, and CONFESSION, last year saw her deliver the Boss EP on Insomniac Records’ sub-label IN / ROTATION to the delight of her growing fanbase. Now, after releasing an absolute heater with Wenzday dubbed “Bright Lights,” Capozzi is continuing to roar into 2021 with her latest EP, The Dark Side.
Out now on IN / ROTATION, The Dark Side EP is a solid follow-up to 2020’s Boss. It clocks in at three tunes, but each one is packed with sensational sounds that will have you falling into a hypnotic groove in a matter of seconds. “Give Luv” leads the EP with its classic house tones and vocals from Pamela Hunt that call back to days of raves gone by while putting a modern twist in the mix with the perfect touch of bass.
“Cali” arrives next, picking up the pace slightly with its infectious bass house bassline that is sure to have feet shuffling throughout its runtime. Then, to close out the EP, Capozzi teams up with Cave Studio to “Getcha” feeling some type of way. Even though there’s added heaviness to the beat and the deepened vocal, it’s a tune that you’ll find yourself bouncing along to with the bass guiding the way to the next rave (whenever that might be).
