From schoolmates to production duo Cologne-based duo GNTN has grown artistically since they first came together to create some magic. Since then, they have showcased their ability to create tracks and mixes that allow listeners to escape reality with their spacey synth build-ups and storytelling style.
Having found their niche and sound in melodic house and techno, Marcel and Jan looked to Desert Hearts Black for their 2020 EP Surround after previously gracing the imprint on Gateways Vol. 1. More recently, the duo released their latest single “Through The Silence” featuring Eleonora, marking the second release on their label, Perspectives, which launched last year. Created with the intention to experiment in creation and curation, this imprint also aims to be a new home for up-and-coming artists in the realm of melodic techno.

The music scene in the Ruhr area of Germany is super multi-faceted. Especially cities like Cologne have such a variety of clubs and musical directions. Some of our favorite clubs like Odonien or Bootshaus are based in this city and shows there is always such a massive inspiration for our productions!
