Paige and Nihil Young team up with Sarah de Warren for a fresh house tune called “Mercy” that’s due out on Gorgon City’s REALM Records.
When Paige and Nihil Young get together in the studio, dancefloor magic is created. Sometimes their productions are hot and heavy like what we heard on “Body Language”. At other times, like with “Losing Control,” their vibe is groovy and uplifting. And when we want to be dipped deep into the underground, “My Eyes” instantly comes to mind. With such an array of flavors, it’s no wonder these two receive constant praise from industry leaders like Diplo, Claptone, and Tiesto!
You can go ahead and add Gorgon City to that list as tomorrow Paige and Nihil Young make their REALM debut with their melodic house stunner, “Mercy,” featuring the amazing voice of Sarah de Warren. This is a woman who oozes with talent, gracing the music industry with powerful gems on Armada / A State Of Trance, Protocol, and Spinnin’, just to name a few. As for gifting her voice on “Mercy,” I hope you are packed and ready to float clear up to the celestial city because Sarah TURNS IT OUT with her angelic tone.
For Paige and Nihil Young’s production responsibility, these boys pack in everything our dancing feet could possibly desire. The rolling melodics set an ethereal mood and the brassy undertone hits like thunder to the soul. The techy clap sits joyfully on the ear as we are charged up by the way the track ebbs and flows. This lays the groundwork for the vocal highlight, Sarah De Warren’s sweet yet haunting inflection.
Now, we may only be closing out the first month of 2021 but this track is already a real contender as one of the top tracks of the year. “Mercy” is a complete spiritual journey condensed into six minutes of pure euphoria.
