Spanish DJ and producer Wade is kicking off 2021 in style with the release of the two-track Charles on Acid EP that’s out now on Sola!
The releases in the realm of house music are already roaring in 2021 to help get everyone moving to the beat (and shake off those holiday feasts). One of the freshest entries to grace speakers on New Year’s Day came from Solardo’s imprint Sola as Wade dropped his two-track EP, Charles on Acid that will have anyone kicked into gear with its groovy, acid-fueled sound.
Inspired by the drum rhythms of his youth in southern Spain, Wade has continually delivered some of the most hypnotic beats in the tech house scene while amassing quite a following along the way. The Charles on Acid EP puts his unique style on full display as both tunes featured on the release are sure to light up any dancefloor. “I’m really excited to return to one of the best UK labels,” Wade said about the release. “Thumbs up for Sola and Solardo!”

Title track “Charles on Acid” is a surefire slam with its rolling beat and acid lines that are taken to the next level with the vocal that’s layered in. When you close your eyes and listen to this tune it will immediately transport you to an underground warehouse filled with house lovers busting moves left and right. “Turning up Dat” carries the vibe on strong with its percussive breakdowns that heighten the senses and a vocal that arrives at the perfect time to blast you off on your trip to outer space.
