Xavi Releases “Neverless” Off Debut Album on Ophelia

One of the newest members of the Ophelia family, Xavi, gets ready to release his debut album on the label with the lead single “Neverless.”

Rising artist Xavi is ready to blow Ophelia fans away with his unique style. Finding inspiration from the likes of Madeon and Porter Robinson, he creates lush and colorful soundscapes mixed with hardcore beats and distorted basslines. The sound that this talented producer brings to speakers has gained him recognition with releases on labels like Proximity and Electric Hawk, and now he looks to grow further on Ophelia Records.

Fans of the Seven Lions-led label have been anticipating more from Xavi since his first release “Breaking Your Void” on Advent Volume 2. Today, he’s filled those desires with the announcement of his debut album, To The Endless Searing Skies, as well as its lead single “Neverless,” that sets expectations even higher for the rising star.

One of the most exciting aspects of Xavi’s forthcoming album and “Neverless” is his evolution as a songwriter and layering in his own vocals. “I crafted my vocal chain and when that steamrolled, it became easier to write new lyrics and new songs that felt a lot more natural,” he said. “The real magic in production is that it’s better to make something someone can connect with over something that’s technically progressive but has no real soul to it.”

“Neverless” begins with Xavi’s filtered vocals and a playful synth to set the colorful mood. The distorted guitar that comes in at the drop adds some energy to the otherwise laidback melody. There’s a sense of airiness in the track as it continues to the second drop, which brings forth an even greater explosion of energy than the first. Hard percussions are introduced along with beautifully layered melodies underneath a soaring piano line. Saying this track is dynamic is an understatement and we can’t wait to see what is yet to come from Xavi on the full album!

Make sure to listen to “Neverless” on Spotify or your favorite platform, and stay tuned for the upcoming release The Endless Searing Skies in 2021!
