Rhett Lands First Solo Release on Emercive Recordings

Rising star Rhett has graced Emercive Recordings with the dynamic, six-track All Ocean EP that showcases his unique influences.

If you’re someone who has been digging deep into the realm of progressive house then Rhett is an artist who should be on your radar. Over the past few years, he’s landed a number of releases on renowned label mau5trap like “Sin Again” while also finding a home among the brilliant minds at Graydient Collective. Now, Rhett has looked to expand his sound further with the release of All Ocean on Emercive Recordings.

Out now for your listening pleasure, the All Ocean EP marks Rhett’s second offering of music on Emercive after dropping “Ridgeline” on Converge, Vol. 3 in 2019. That tune helped pave the way for his return to the label this year and simultaneously help satiate the cravings of his growing fanbase. In fitting fashion for the week it was released, All Ocean acts like a Thanksgiving feast of electronic beats as he guides listeners through a hearty helping of sounds influenced by genres ranging from ambient and house to drum and bass and breaks.

Kicking off with “Emitter” Rhett begins the journey with a beat that will immediately fill those who tune in with some energy to get their feet moving. The vocal that’s layered in makes this one stand out among the bunch, but have no fear because the following tracks are just as stunning. Next up, “Vitalism” breathes some life into the release with its hypnotic soundscape before “Morning Glory” and “Marooned” arrive dripping with chilled out tones perfect for those lazy days spent vibing out with friends.

The penultimate track on the EP, “Cataract,” appears on the horizon next and brings a breaks infused beat that will run through your mind well after the final seconds tick away. Then, Rhett closes out the release by delivering a VIP edit of “Emitter” that sees him marvelously extend the original with new tasty treats to gobble up. It acts as a perfect bookend to this new chapter of his story and we can’t wait to see what’s next for this rising star in the scene!
