Ever since he first found his way behind the decks at the age of 18, Nick Ledesma has proven himself to be an artist that understands the importance of creating memorable experiences for anyone who catches his sets. Over the years he’s drawn on influences from a range of genres that include everything from progressive and trance to melodic dubstep and house to create a unique style, while simultaneously taking the stage at some of the scene’s most iconic festivals and nightclubs.
Just because 2020 hasn’t gone according to plan doesn’t mean that Nick Ledesma has slowed down on his ascent through the ranks of the scene. He’s taken the stage to perform at the EDM Drive-In show in San Antonio over Halloween weekend while also throwing down heaters on a number of livestreams throughout the pandemic. And what better way to cap off the year than by teaming up with KEPIK and Luma for “New Horizon” that landed on Ophelia Presents: Advent Vol. 2?
Now, with the final weeks of the year upon us, Nick Ledesma is looking to carry the energy he’s brought to the stage into 2021 with a mix that is sure to delight anyone who loves dynamic soundscapes. Not only does he deliver some bass heaters and psytrance tracks, but he also blends in cuts of tunes like Ookay’s “Thief,” Above & Beyond’s “There’s Only You,” and deadmau5 and Kaskade’s “I Remember.” The result? An immediate jolt of nostalgia that will have anyone who tunes in feeling some type of way.
2020 was a year that nobody expected and definitely had its ups and downs. These last several months has allowed me to take a step back and focus my time towards music production. With that being said, KEPIK and I just released our new song “New Horizon” (Ft. Luma), which was part of Ophelia Records Advent Volume 2 EP. As a fan of multiple genres, I love to incorporate all of it into my production and mixes. This mix gives you a little taste plus I might have included some unreleased music. Hope you guys enjoy.
