With much of the world today dominated by doom and gloom, leave it to Tinlicker and Helsloot to take us to Paradise with their latest EP.

Tinlicker has built a devoted fanbase around them since bursting into the mainstream back in 2017 with the smash single “Because You Move Me” with Helsloot in tow. From massive releases on Anjunabeats’ latest compilation to dominating some of the world’s largest stages, Tinlicker has built a momentum that refuses to be tamed. Today, the dutch duo once again recruit Helsloot to assert their dominance over the progressive scene with their latest EP Paradise that’s out now on Astralwerks.

Paradise opens with a captivating intro by blossoming vocalist Saro as his ethereal lyrics call for his loved one’s arms, sheltering him from the storm and welcoming him to paradise. Tinlincker’s iconic kick-snare rhythms build in harmony with an unmistakeable arpeggiated lead synth; a Tinlicker hallmark. The track climbs to a tremendous precipice before unleashing into a bubbling blissful journey to shake dance floors and transport fans to a unique state of nirvana.

However, the auditory delights don’t stop there, as the power trio rounds out the Paradise EP with the thunderous progressive house banger “Like.” This track combines Tinlicker and Helsloot’s abilities to create stunning soundscapes and takes listeners on a cosmic pilgrimage through space and time. As Tinlicker’s unmistakeable synths and palpable energy take us to a place beyond the clouds. “Like” comes as one of the best releases of the year without question, and we can not wait to hear it live.

Paradise comes as another massive success for Tinlicker and Helsloot. The trio has successfully decimated the boundaries between progressive house, and trance and they have created a work of art entirely their own. This EP was born out of necessity for positivity and love in a world currently consumed by darkness; Paradise achieves precisely that.

Don’t miss the all-new visualizer for “Paradise” as it brings the EP’s celestial cover art to life, and listen to the EP now on Spotify or your preferred platform. Which track from Paradise is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.

Logan Garrison

It was a decade ago that Logan Garrison, better known as DJ Lo_G, first took the stage to spin sets for crowds in the snowy towns of Lake Tahoe and Aspen. Originally spinning sounds in the realm of glitch and bass music, he began to develop a passion for all things house as he returned to his hometown and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, DJ Lo_G has become a fixture in the Aspen nightlife scene as he has found a home at Belly Up and regularly warms up the stage for some of dance music’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Chris Lake, Slow Magic, Nora En Pure, and most recently ZHU. Joining the EDM Identity team back in 2018, he’s dug even deeper into dance music and the festival scene. Whether he’s covering events like Mysteryland and shows in Aspen, interviewing artists like Hannah Wants, and reviewing fresh releases, his passion for the entire community shines throughout.
