Alex Kennon Releases Debut EP on Desert Hearts, ‘Gentle Water’

Alex Kennon

House artist Alex Kennon has already begun to make waves with his previous releases and now he’s landed on Desert Hearts with Gentle Water.

Since its inception, Desert Hearts has become a beloved home for house and techno lovers to discover fresh faces in the scene who churn out some amazing beats. Consistently finding artists who push the boundaries of their own sound, they’ve now looked to Alex Kennon for the latest release on the label with the Gentle Water EP.

While Alex Kennon might be one of the latest artists to join the impressive roster of talent that has graced Desert Hearts, his discography proves he’s been consistently delivering the heat for quite some time. Past releases from this rising artist have landed on renowned labels like Relief Records, Circus Recordings, and Rebellion, but his latest two tunes on Gentle Water puts his talent on full display.

The title track kicks off the EP and energizes your body immediately with a solid beat that’s perfect for those summer days by the pool and a hypnotic vocal that will echo in your mind as well. Then, Alex Kennon introduces us all to “Fandango” which kicks the vibe up a notch with its own vocal chop, smooth bassline, and drums that will have your feet in a frenzy. The sun really is shining when this track is blaring through your speakers, wherever you may be listening from.

And who better to take the track to the next level than Wyatt Marshall? This familiar face for anyone in the Dirtybird flock remixes “Fandango” in style to give it a fresh groove that will consume your mind, body, and soul in no time at all. This funky remix is one that will easily find its way into sets and playlists for some time to come!
