Listen to the remix package of Slander and Said The Sky’s “Potions” and tune in this Friday for a special re-run of their EDC Las Vegas 2018 set!

Our favorite LA-based heaven trap duo is back today with an absolutely massive remix package via Monstercat. Derek Anderson and Scott Land, aka Slander, have gifted us all with an 11-track remix album for their hit single with Said The Sky called “Potions.” This release follows the acoustic version of the track that they dropped just last March, only adding to the hype that’s been building around this instant-classic since it was first unveiled.

The remix album features a diverse array of some of Monstercat’s hottest up-and-coming producers, including Au5, Hekler, Danny Olson, and more. Although 11 versions of the same track might sound like a recipe for repetition, the best part about this album is its variation from artist to artist. Au5’s remix offers a sped-up take on the song, for example, whereas Danny Olson’s opts for a more drawn out melody and TYNAN delivers even more bass-fueled goodness.

And for those of you who can never quite get enough Slander, you’ll also be able to tune in to a special livestream this Friday night.

Joined by fellow Gud Vibrations friend NGHTMRE, they’ll be watching along with fans as they stream their B2B EDC Las Vegas 2018 set straight from Slander’s Twitch Channel! If you weren’t there to witness it in person (and even if you were), you’re not going to want to miss this stream. Guaranteed to kick off your weekend in a big way, this set is the ultimate way to spend your Friday night in!

Give the Potions (Remixes) on Spotify below or on your preferred platform, and make sure to tune into the livestream via Slander’s Twitch at 7 PM PT this Friday!

Sydney attributes her love for music from her mom, who insisted on playing The Foo Fighters and The White Stripes rather than Kiss FM whenever she drove carpool and agreed to allow Sydney to attend Coachella in the eighth grade as long as she could go with her. That first festival only greater affirmed Sydney’s passion for the scene, but it was not until 2013 when she attended Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour concert in Los Angeles that she discovered electronic music. She was hooked instantly and has since attended a total of 23 festivals, with countless concerts in between. Sydney’s favorite artists include RL Grime, Jauz, Jai Wolf, Louis The Child, Slander, Bearson and Big Gigantic but she is constantly on the look out for new music and artists to dance to. When she’s not scouring the internet for new tracks or grooving at a concert, Sydney studies Journalism and Biology full-time at the University of Oregon.
