The house music scene has been bursting at the seams with fantastic tunes from artists all over the world, but few have caught our attention quite like Westend has. Making a major impression on us last year with releases like “Friend Zone” and a remix of “Sorry” that are surefire floor fillers, he’s now continued his dominance in 2020 with “Pay Attention.”
The title track for a two-tune stunner, “Pay Attention” is absolutely hypnotic in nature from the very start. Once you’ve fully immersed yourself in the simplistic beat the funky bassline is layered in with some spacey sounds. Then, the track is kicked into the next gear with the vocal sample that commands you to “Concentrate” and “Stay Focused” as the house grooves take over your body and force you to tap your feet instantly.
