Rebecca & Fiona are ready to uplift your spirits in the exclusive premiere of their new single “Fet House Mode.”
Stockholm natives Rebecca Scheja and Fiona FitzPatrick have been creating magic together since 2007. The “Turn It Down” singers have collaborated with Kaskade, Nause, Adrian Lux, and more throughout their career. Besides producing two Grammy award-winning albums I Love You, Man! and Art of Being a Girl in Sweden, Rebecca & Fiona remain a triple threat. They sing, they produce, and they have impeccable style.
Now they’re blessing us with the melodic house track “Fet House Mode,” via Big Romantic Music. The track starts off with a subtle kick that eases into beautiful piano chords that flawlessly transition into a funky melody. Although it’s unclear what the lyrics are, the vocals blend effortlessly with the melody. “Fet House Mode” is basically three minutes and forty-three seconds of heaven.
The best songs give you the opportunity to chill out and detach from the present. You easily find yourself lost in the zone or in the midst of an elaborate daydream. Rebecca & Fiona delivered that experience and more in “Fet House Mode.” Enough of my thoughts, though, it’s your turn to jam out.
Without further ado, we are proud to premiere “Fet House Mode” before its official release on Friday, March 20. Take a listen to the tune, pre-save it on your preferred platform, and let us know your thoughts in the comments!

“We wanted to make a house track that sounded like the music we like to play in our sets, we like a lot of Axwell 2004 type of songs. First, we found the vocal sample on a CD that Charlie Bernardo had in the studio and fell straight in love with it. And then Rebecca was just like, ‘I want the piano to be like this’ and she played the airplane and made the sound with her mouth… ‘That’s the m1 piano’ said Fiona. It was actually kind of simple.
We had a show that night so we decided to bounce the demo and bring it straight to the club and play it. We didn’t know what to name the song because it didn’t have a vocal with clear words in it like we usually do so we decided to name the demo FET HOUSE MODE, the feeling we were having in the studio, and do we did.
We played it in our set that night and so many people wanted to know the track ID so we kept screaming “FET HOUSE MODE” Which means FAT HOUSE MODE in Swedish, and so it is!!!”
