In just a few weeks the flock will gather once more at Dirtybird Campout West and we have the beats to get you primed and ready for the party!
Right about now we are all beginning to make our final preparations for the upcoming edition of Dirtybird Campout West. We’re filling our suitcases, double-checking our flight reservations, putting in some extra work at the gym, and checking to make sure all of our camping supplies are in order. In the blink of an eye the time will come in which we will commune with our family and friends for a weekend of games, activities, comedy, and of course, the music that has stolen our hearts, sucking us into a community where self-expression is encouraged and inclusiveness runs rampant.
This year’s lineup features not only the best that the house genre has to offer but some of the most exciting up and comers that the industry has dished out in recent years. Acts like Sacha Robotti, Steve Darko, Westend, Will Clarke, and Black V Neck are all just a tiny snippet of the raw talent that will be leading us along our unbridled musical journey. I don’t know about you, but lately, there is nothing that I want more than to saturate my life with everything Dirtybird has to offer.
As per the norm at every Dirtybird Campout experience, there will be two stages to call home throughout the weekend and while the Bass Lodge should be celebrated for the urban vibes and bass-tastic flavors that will surely get the booties grinding low on the dance floor, it is the Birdhouse that I find myself gravitating to from start to finish. So, in honor of my favorite stage, I’ve created a playlist featuring just about everyone featured on the lineup.

For those not featured on our playlist, have no fear because they are certainly not forgotten.
A special shoutout goes out to Faren Strnad, the label manager for NV’D Records. I insist that you check out her Dirtybird Campout 2019 Mix Series for a quirky dive into the late-night territory. Another mention must go to Dirtybird label manager Deron Delgado. His Cut From The Catalog Mix will get you foaming at the mouth with a chilled out festive essence that promises to set your mind right.
Finally, we can’t forget about the iconic Heidi. She is the Jackathon Jams label head and a woman who oozes with style and grace, driving house and techno fans crazy with a passion unmatched. I really love her Slave To The Rave Down Under Mix as it defines her creativity as a multifaceted player in the industry.
With all that being said, I hope you dig in and really enjoy the sounds of the Birdhouse! And when the time comes, I invite you to come find me on the dance floor as we celebrate life, love, and unity at the best summer camp on the planet. See you soon my dear friends!
