Christmas is coming early for fans of all things funky as GRiZ has announced his return to Wilmington, NC for two nights of GRiZmas in July!
Members of the GRiZ fam will not have to wait for the cold winter month of December for a little taste of GRiZmas cheer this year. Today, the intergalactic-funkateer has announced his return to the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater on July 26 – 27 for another edition of one of his favorite events, GRiZmas In July.
Staying true to classic GRiZmas in July form, the first night will feature a Chasing The Golden Hour set. These C.T.G.H sets have become revered among GRiZ fans due to their slowed down, soulful vibes perfect for that last hour of daylight before welcoming the night. Nestled among towering Cyprus trees along Greenfield Lake, the amphitheater will be the perfect setting to let GRiZ’s masterful sax welcome the golden hour.
The second night will feature a plethora of GRiZ classics spanning his work from 2010- 2017. From fan-favorite albums such as Rebel Era and Say It Loud to his more recent Good Will Continue and Ride Waves this “greatest hits” session will be packed with some truly funkified bangers. Many of GRiZ’s most popular tunes come from this era as night two is sure to be one for the books at the intimate venue.
Fans are encouraged to snag tickets on the artist pre-sale Wednesday, June 19 at 12pm ET as tickets disappeared in record time for previous editions. If you miss out on the presale though, the general sale is due to happen on Friday, June 21 at 12pm ET. All tickets can be purchased over on Eventbrite!
