Boogie T x GRiZ

GRiZ and Boogie T team up for their first joint release Supa Fly, and they’ve brought along a gang of bass music’s finest for some remixes too.

Following the massive success of his latest album release Ride Waves, GRiZ has quickly reloaded and fired off another new track that is filled with pure bass music filth dubbed “Supa Fly”. Teaming up with longtime friend and fellow bass aficionado Boogie T for the first time ever, the track transformed into a full EP on Drama Club Recordings that also featured remixes by notable artists including RuskoDirt Monkey x Jantsen, Gentlemens Club, and COM3T.

Perfect for the summer festival season, the Supa Fly EP blends Boogie T’s signature, dancefloor-oriented production style with GRiZ’s masterful sound design to create an infectious tune you can’t help but hit repeat on. Showing that they can hold their own within the dubstep community and I can’t wait to hear this track rinsed over massive festival systems nationwide.

Sure to keep even the most particular of dubstep fans happy, GRiZ and Boogie T have fired on all cylinders to make sure the remixes paired with the release also check all the boxes. Each track offers a unique take on the original, from Rusko‘s iconic, powerful leads to Gentleman’s Club unmistakeable urban horns and swampy low-end. You also won’t want to miss the remix from Jantsen x Dirt Monkey that brings an imaginative and revamped saxophone intro, as well as COM3T‘s saw wave-fueled refix.

It was a decade ago that Logan Garrison, better known as DJ Lo_G, first took the stage to spin sets for crowds in the snowy towns of Lake Tahoe and Aspen. Originally spinning sounds in the realm of glitch and bass music, he began to develop a passion for all things house as he returned to his hometown and hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, DJ Lo_G has become a fixture in the Aspen nightlife scene as he has found a home at Belly Up and regularly warms up the stage for some of dance music’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Chris Lake, Slow Magic, Nora En Pure, and most recently ZHU. Joining the EDM Identity team back in 2018, he’s dug even deeper into dance music and the festival scene. Whether he’s covering events like Mysteryland and shows in Aspen, interviewing artists like Hannah Wants, and reviewing fresh releases, his passion for the entire community shines throughout.
