Vicetone and Haley Reinhart have come together on a fresh track that will have you feeling “Something Strange” as it tugs on your heartstrings.

Dutch DJ Duo Vicetone has been pumping out hit after hit in the house music realm for fans to dance the night away to all over the globe since 2012. Quickly gaining support from notable names in dance music ranging from Zedd to Nicky Romero, they dropped some massive original tunes like “Lowdown”, “Way Back”, and “United We Dance”. Now, they’ve released another stunner of a tune for your listening pleasure entitled “Something Strange”.

Out today on Monstercat, “Something Strange” sees Vicetone’s return to the renowned label and having previously released tunes like “Apex” and “What I’ve Waited For”, we couldn’t be more excited. The track features a strong melody full of piano notes and a beat that will have you bobbing right along with it. Uplifting and definitely main stage friendly, the lighter beat takes listeners back to the summer months and holds firmly onto the vibes from the past festival season.

The serene vocals from Haley Reinhart really accentuate the track and tug at your heartstrings as she sings about “Something Strange” in her as she explores the loss of someone she once loved but doesn’t feel she knows anymore. Relatable to anyone who has had to say goodbye to someone who broken another’s trust and is not deserving of their love, these lyrics really hit home.

Take a listen to the tune below, stream or purchase “Something Strange” on your favorite platform, and let us know what your thoughts are in the comments!

“”Something Strange” is a special track for us that came together naturally. We made the song a while ago and only when we heard Haley sing on it, did it feel complete to us. The mix of her voice and our sound is special to us.”
