Stephen Disario Stuns with Two Techno EPs in One Week

Get a double dose of Stephen Disario’s distinct techno style with his recent EPs Illusion and Incoming that both dropped this week!

If you’re looking for an artist in the techno scene who is truly making some major moves both as an artist as well as a curator, it is hard to ignore Los Angeles’ own Stephen Disario. Known for his own distinct style of techno beats that keep crowds captivated throughout their entirety, his set at the Aftertraxx event back in August was absolutely stellar.

Aside from his skills in the studio and behind the decks, Stephen continues to make his mark on the Los Angeles scene as Co-Founder of Cognition Events. Already bringing in some major names in techno like Julian Jeweil and Pig&Dan for sets at Avalon Hollywood, we can’t wait to see how they continue to grow for future editions.

On the production side of things, 2018 has clearly been Stephen’s year.

Back in April, he dropped a collaboration with Brennen Grey dubbed “Eye of RA” and he released his Dystopian EP last month before heading out to Burning Man. Furthering the theme of powerful releases from his studio this year, Stephen had another massive week to close out September in the best way possible with the Illusion and Incoming EPs.

Stephen kicked things off on Monday with the release of his four-track Illusion EP on HE-ART Music that left us stunned as we soaked in the dark, moody elements of each track. Acting as a proper bookend to the month, the Incoming EP dropped on Friday to usher in the weekend with some proper techno vibes.

While this release only features two original tunes from Stephen, “Incoming” and “Retreads,” it also features solid remixes from Marcello V.O.R. and Fernando de Sá that pack a punch.
