Growlz contributes a unique trap and bass flair to Flux Pavilion’s Earwax with his latest release, “Glass Forest”.

Following an artist’s journey and watching them grow is one of the most rewarding aspects of being a fan and a music listener. Further, hearing a younger artist craft their sound over the years is also very rewarding to watch unfold. On Flux Pavilion‘s compilation album, Earwax, up-and-coming producer Growlz shows massive growth through with his track, “Glass Forest“.

A California native, Growlz has been producing for the past three years. In this short time, he’s beginning to make a name for himself. As one of the newer members of the Circus Records roster, his recent releases on the label have been tremendous tracks that incorporate detailed sound design with heavy dubstep and trap elements. However, his newest release, “Glass Forest”, takes a step away from his usual bass music production.

Listen to Growlz – Glass Forest on Spotify:

The track is apart of Flux Pavilion’s compilation album, Earwax which is dedicated to tracks that show a more emotional side of dance music. In Flux’s own words:

“A lot of people talk about music, it’s fascinating and powerful stuff, but for me it’s to be listened to. I get tongue tied when I try to explain what it makes me feel because listening to music is purely like nothing else. We release a lot of music on Circus, most of it to be danced to, but all of it to be listened to. This album takes the focus away from the dancefloor and steers it towards the ears, listen to it from front to back and soak it up, that’s what it was made for.”

Keeping to that theme, “Glass Forest” provides the listener with a rich soundscape of music from start to finish that evokes emotion and energy. The track is an astounding body of work and is a standout from this 21-song compilation album. Further, it shows the diversity of Growlz’ production ability and is one of his best tunes to date.
