Lane 8 gifts fans with a new standalone single, “The Disappearance of Colonel Mustard” is out now on This Never Happened!

Continuing on with his seemingly effortless domination of the house music scene this year, Lane 8 has gifted us with another present this summer. Already releasing his five-hour seasonal mixtape stunner and the collaborations with Anderholm and Khåen, he has now officially released “The Disappearance of Colonel Mustard”.

One of the most memorable tracks that Lane 8 has been spinning during his sets as of late, it brings both power and emotion along with it as the track progresses. Having played numerous festivals and events this season already like Electric Forest and Anjunabeach SoCal, if you’ve caught one of his sets you’ve more than likely heard this tune played out.

Lane 8 will continue to traverse the planet in the remainder of the year, bringing his powerful sound everywhere from Tomorrowland in Belgium to Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas. He also recently announced the second leg of the Little By Little Tour, so check those dates and catch him in a city near you!

Out now on his label This Never Happened, you can listen to “The Disappearance of Colonel Mustard” on Spotify or stream it on your favorite platform today. As the first standalone single in over a year from Lane 8, we’re excited as ever to see it receive an official release. Let us know what you think of the track, and tell us about your favorite moment from a set of his in the comments below!

Stream Lane 8 – The Disappearance of Colonel Mustard on Spotify:

“When I was little I used to play a mystery board game called Clue. Colonel Mustard was one of the characters in the game, and that silly name has always stuck with me over the years for some reason. I made the track right before my album tour this year, it was just meant to be a fun club track at first, but audiences really took to it right away. It slowly became one of the standout tracks from the whole tour, so it was obvious that we should put it out on This Never Happened.”
