GAWP Brings His Mind the GAWP Tour to North America This March

Get your dose of bass-fueled tech house with GAWP this March as he makes his North American debut!

If you’re into tech house, one artist you are going to want to pay attention to in 2018 is GAWP – and with his upcoming Mind the GAWP North America Tour, the timing is perfect for you to do so. The industry veteran will be taking the decks in San Francisco, Detroit, Seattle, and Miami during Miami Music Week, with more to be announced in the weeks ahead. You can snag your tickets via his Facebook page.

The tour is perfectly timed with the release of his newest track, “Coolade,” forthcoming on Claude VonStroke’s Dirtybird Records on March 12, and we can’t wait to hear what other surprises he has in store. With a whole slew of releases on impressive labels such as This Ain’t Bristol and Elrow and a recent appearance at Dirtybird Campout East, things are heating up – and he’s just getting started.

GAWP explained a bit about his excitement for his upcoming North American tour:

“Finally, I am embarking on my North America debut trip. It’s been a long two years of being locked in the studio creating visions of this day, not to mention working on collaborations with some of my favourite labels, artists and fans in that time.

Now, it’s my chance to express my gratitude through music, not forgetting the buggy full of stickers, hugs and High fives. This is going to be a tour that hopefully many fans and especially myself will never forget. Musically and mentally I’m ready: expect plenty of hypnotic twisted sounds and bass to shake your membrane.”

Erin has been listening to electronic music on and off since the early 2000s, which is when trance music captured her heart and soul. Over the years, she has expanded into a number of other styles and genres, especially techno and house. Originally from Chicago, she spent the better part of the last decade seeking out any electronic music she could find, and traveled the length of the country in search of some incredible moments at festivals like EDC, TomorrowWorld, and the Dirtybird Campout. Having since settled in Denver, she focuses her energies primarily on the house and techno scene around town and traveling to mountain and west coast festivals whenever possible.
