Eric Prydz presents HOLO will find a home at three events in the United Kingdom including Creamfields!
After a massive 2017 that featured a Hi Ibiza residency and the return of EPIC (aka Eric Prydz In Concert) with the 5.0 edition, we had an inkling that Eric Prydz would bring the fun this year. Late last year it was announced that Prydz, under his Cirez D alias, and Adam Beyer would be going back-to-back in Miami, but more was to come. Closing out the first month of 2018, Prydz teased us with a Facebook Video showing off a hologram test which led the world began to buzz with talks about the return of HOLO.
The video, which featured a field of holograms that were suspended in midair and moving in sync only piqued our interest further. Instantly, it recalled the visual ball ceiling concept of Sensation: Innerspace, which debuted in 2011. We’ve come to expect Eric Prydz to bring strange new stage design fun to the masses at this point, the question became where this production would be experienced.
Having announced “Wednesday” in the caption of the test video, something interesting was coming today. Now the news has been released that the latest mindblowing project from Prydz appears to be the HOLO Live Show.

So what is HOLO?
The HOLO concept is a culmination of the several years of holographic technology Eric’s been working on during his EPIC shows. The goal of HOLO was to introduce a tourable holographic live experience that works in more locations than the purpose-built EPIC stages. It’s an exciting prospect given what Eric’s done with holographic elements to date in his EPIC shows.
For those hoping the experience would come to the US, or would make its debut during the Adam Beyer/Cirez D event, we do have some bad news. As of right now, there is no indication of a US date, and we can only continue to hope to see added in the future.
That said, there are three dates ready to go in the UK this summer. Glasgow and Belfast will get shows in June, and the show will make its debut at a major festival during the one and only Creamfields in August! Tickets for the Glasgow and Belfast shows go live on Friday, but you can pick up tickets to Creamfields now and join in the mad fun of the 21-year-old festival.
Take your pick and head over to the HOLO tour page to get your tickets!
Also, don’t fret too much if you are looking forward to the next EPIC show. We’d like to let you know that EPIC will return with a new, innovative design in 2019. It will be supremely interesting to see what Eric pulls out of his hat next year after rocking the 15,000 strong for EPIC 5.0 at the Creamfields Steel Yard in London’s Victoria Park.
