EDC China is set to debut in Shanghai at the Shanghai International Music Park on April 29 & 30, 2018!
After the announcement by Pasquale Rotella that the infamous Electric Daisy Carnival would be making its way to China in 2018, many began to wonder exactly when and where this festival would be debuting in the country. Today, our questions have been answered as Insomniac Events has released the details for the inaugural edition of EDC China!
In collaboration with Zebra Entertainment Enterprise, EDC China is set to be hosted at Shanghai International Music Park on Sunday, April 29 and Monday, April 30. With a venue in the heart of Shanghai, this urban landscape will be transformed into a massive edition of EDC set to feature three stages, theatrical performances, and of course some quality electronic artists as well.
Wondering which stages will be present? The kineticTEMPLE, circuitGROUNDS, and bassPOD will be touching down in Shanghai. Additionally, the Boombox Art Car will also be present, making its second-ever international appearance.
The third edition of Electric Daisy Carnival to be featured on the continent of Asia, it is clear that the future of electronic music is bright in the region. EDC India and EDC Japan both received much praise, so we can only hope for a similar experience full of jaw-dropping production and epic sets from artists playing the festival.
Two-Day GA tickets for the inaugural edition of EDC China will go on sale on Sunday, Feb 28. at 8 a.m. PT for ¥880 plus taxes and fees via china.electricdaisycarnival.com.
