Nitti Gritti produces and sings on his newest track, which is a cover of Skrillex’s latest hit, “Would U Ever.”

There has been a recent wave of dance music that has been released that involves vocals. This is due to the fact that vocals on a song give listeners something to easily grasp onto and sing-a-long to. However, what do you do when you don’t have an actual vocalist to contribute to your track? Well, you simply sing on it yourself! Such is seen in the new Nitti Gritti cover of Skrillex & Poo Bear’s “Would U Ever.”

Some people really dislike when artists sing on their own tracks. However, I feel that it allows the artist to deliver a more personalized feel to the listener. Further, it almost makes the artist vulnerable in a way. Singing is something personal and due to a lot of these guys not being trained, professional singers, they are jumping out of their comfort zones to provide this type of work.

Nitti Gritti has made a buzz in the bass music world for some time now. He’s garnered hundreds of thousands of plays on songs and released on very notable labels. On his cover of Skrillex’s, “Would U Ever,” he not only produces but sings on the track as well! The result is a purely enjoyable tune that provides an entirely different listening experience than the original!

About Nitti Gritti:

A name that’s pushed the boundaries of bass music, supported by A-list artists by the likes of Jauz, Slander, and NGHTMRE, has sprung among the dance music community, and it’s Nitti Gritti. Six months and eleven releases later Nitti Gritti has captivated millions of listeners with his remakes of popular tracks such as “Gud Vibrations” and “Marching On”, but truly won over an enormous following with his original track “Dirty Dancing”. Bringing forth his raw musical talent as well as his remarkable skills in music production, Nitti Gritti highlights his creative talent through his video releases, his most recent being his insane drum cover of some of his most well-known tracks.

Taking his wild success and continued support from even larger artists like Tchami and Dillon Francis, Nitti Gritti had his debut performance at Miami’s largest Halloween event, Wynwood Fear Factory, followed by headlining the official after party alongside Adventure Club at one of Miami’s most prestigious nightclubs, Space. Nitti Gritti followed up his debut performance by playing the official Corona Electric Beach party w/ Matoma during Art Basel. But he didn’t stop there, whirlwind guest appearances at Nocturnal Wonderland & EDC Orlando alongside Bonnie X Clyde and closing out 2016 on tour with them. 2017 is already shaping up to be a big year for him, as he has a Main Stage performance at Life In Color Wynwood, and an arsenal of new music to debut. So here’s to 2017, let’s get down to the Nitti Gritti.
