Making a triumphant return to the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas is the wasteLAND stage curated by Insomniac’s hard dance brand, Basscon!

Since it’s introduction to EDC Las Vegas in 2013, Basscon has brought top artists in the hard dance scene with them to sway crowds throughout the night. Their home at wasteLAND has become one of the most renowned stages at the festival, drawing curious newcomers and seasoned shufflers alike. Headliners were blown away at the 20th Anniversary of EDC when they were transported to the destroyed city of San Francisco.

Te stage, which featured a massive replica of the Golden Gate Bridge, also featured other production elements that played perfectly into the theme. Whether your eyes were set on the pyrotechnics or shipwrecked boats, it was definitely one of the most detailed stages at the festival. Throughout the weekend, hardstyle lovers and hard dance enthusiasts shuffled to the sounds of acts ranging from Brennan Heart to Coone, and Angerfist to Audiotricz, so expect more quality talent too!

This year, Basscon will introduce headliners to the latest destroyed destination, with the focus on the Egyptian theme!

You can check out the debut of the new theme at the 3rd Annual Basscon: Wasteland on April 28th and 29th at the NOS Events Center! Purchase tickets HERE!

Hear what Pasquale Rotella had to say about the Basscon brand:

“Insomniac and its community are filled with people who love all forms of music, and it’s important for us to create experiences where fans can come together and celebrate the music that they’re passionate about, Hardstyle has legions of fans worldwide, but here in America the sound was being underserved. Basscon was created to support the movement and its loyal fan base.”

What’s the evidence that EDC Las Vegas wasteLAND stage’s focus will be on Egypt?

It’s directly from the information we were provided from Insomniac. This isn’t speculation, it’s confirmed from them…

So they’re re-using the Wasteland theme 2 months later at EDC? Huh..

Yes, they are. Here, if you need more proof you can easily go look to their own official blog that echoes what we have said here.
