Rossy Burr helped co-found the UK based Disciple Records, he announced he’s spinning off into a solo project and released his first track ‘Playa’ to celebrate.
Disciple Records is a premier bass music record label that has been around for quite some time. The label is well-recognized for their ability to find and house some of the most exciting bass music artists around. Their roster includes the likes of Virtual Riot, Barely Alive, Dubloadz and more. The label was founded by Rob Talbott (Dodge & Fuski) and Rossy Burr (Astronaut) a few years ago and instantly received the backing of Never Say Die Records.
While Astronaut was a duo between Rossy Burr and Daniel Gouldie, Rossy Burr has since went on and decided to start his solo project. His debut single, ‘Playa‘, under the name Myro, has just came out and it’s truly spectacular. An ode to UK Dubstep that started the scene on it’s popular path, this song is a flurry of bass and incredulous sounds! The track evokes sound reminiscent of the boom in dubstep in 2010 – 2011. Influences of old school sound like Caspa & Rusko shine through in this track. With ‘Playa’, Myro is proving that Dubstep isn’t dead, it’s alive and well!
