#TBT || “Shivers” (Alex M.O.R.P.H.’s Red Light Dub)

This weeks Throwback Thursday brings us to the year 2005 when Alex M.O.R.P.H. decided to put his magic touch on an incredible trance track by one of the most beloved trance producers in the scene, Armin van Buuren. The track is called “Shivers” and listening to it always sends shivers up my spine. It’s incredibly uplifting with all the elements that make a trance track respectable and honest. If you are a true trance lover then I know you have heard this track at some point in your musical life.

To be honest, my first brush with it came back in 2013 at the inaugural TomorrowWorld festival in Atlanta, Georgia. Armin van Buuren played it during his closing set and immediately I fell in love with its gorgeous melody and driving rhythm. So I took to the internet to learn all about the track and came upon the Alex M.O.R.P.H. remix. In my opinion, Alex reworked the track with such class and precision that it has remained one of my favorite remixes to date.

Currently, Alex M.O.R.P.H. is still working hard to bring amazing trance beats to fans around the world and has even started his own label called Universal Nation and began a new radio show in which he takes control to deliver musical excellence. His new album ‘Not All Superheroes Wear Capes‘ set for release this summer and a slew of tour dates already confirmed, Alex M.O.R.P.H. is here to stay and better than ever. He is as relevant today as he was many years ago and we love him for it. So now, let’s journey back in time and enjoy Alex M.O.R.P.H’s Red Light Dub of Armin van Buuren’s “Shivers”. Make sure to check him out this summer as he lights up dance floors all over the planet!
