Lets throw it back all the way to the year 2010, when Zeds Dead was on the rise and dubstep was reaching new heights. That year, the boys released a track that has been one of my personal favorites. Whether I’m driving around or just chilling with friends, “White Satin” is definitely one of those tracks that has solidified a playlist spot. Originally recorded by the Moody Blues, Zeds Dead took the reigns on this track, breathed some 2010 dubstep vibes into it, and topped it off with a sample from Pulp Fiction (“Zed’s Dead Baby”) to put their stamp on it. Knowing that many of their fans became familiar with them because of their earlier tracks, its always a great to hear them play this song out in their sets that I’ve managed to catch over the years. If you haven’t heard this track yet, I’d suggest you get out from under the rock you’ve been living under.

Zeds Dead – White Satin Lyrics:
Gazing at people
Some hand in hand
Just what I’m going through
They can’t understand
Some try to tell me
Thoughts they cannot defend
Just what you want to be
You will be in the end
And I love you
Yes I love you
Oh how I love you
Oh how I love you
Zed’s Dead, baby
Oh ho- [x4]
Gazing at people
Some hand in hand
Just what I’m going through
They can’t understand
Some try to tell me
Thoughts they cannot defend
Just what you want to be
You will be in the end
And I love you
Yes I love you
Oh how I love you
Oh how I love you
Oh ho- [x4]
Nights in white satin [x2]
Never reaching the end
Letters I’ve written
Never meaning to send
