Delta Heavy Release “Oscillator” Off Paradise Lost

in New Releases, Music

Five years after bursting onto the scene, Delta Heavy unveil their long awaited debut album, Paradise Lost, which will be released March 4th on Ram Records. The duo released singles “Ghost” and “Punish My Love” back in 2015, both of which were accompanied by some jaw-dropping animated music videos. Now we have seen their 4th official single off the album, “Oscillator”, which is a track that is set to be a club smasher. With a bass in your face sound, the track draws from older bass roots featuring a vocal sample, a swinging rhythm and serious drops that leave you banging to the beat.

We asked Delta Heavy to describe their heavy track for our readers, check out their response!

Oscillator was born from wanting to do a tune in the same style as ‘Take the Stairs’ but with more aggression. The vocal samples spawned the concept of a 1950’s mad scientist making sounds in a lab with bubbling potions and electricity and so we wrote an intro that set the scene. It’s one of the heavier tunes on our new album ‘Paradise Lost’ and also one of our favourites!
