Nocturnal Wonderland is this weekend and what better way to celebrate than by watching the epic 20th Anniversary Documentary, Dancing In The Dark!
Back in 2015, Insomniac Events celebrated a massive Nocturnal Wonderland milestone: the 20th anniversary of the festival. To help commemorate the epic achievement, Insomniac released Dancing In The Dark: 20 Years of Nocturnal Wonderland, a 22-minute-long documentary featuring interviews from veteran DJs, producers, and journalists who have been involved with the rave scene since its conception.
The interviews paint a vivid picture of what it was like to attend a “party” in the early ’90s, focusing specifically on Nocturnal and Pasquale. Accounts range from iconic DJs like Bunny of Rabbit in the Moon to other influential artists like Moby and 12th Planet. At under a half-hour, the mini-documentary offers brief but highly personal accounts of a piece of history that we all hold near and dear to our hearts and was the ultimate way for Insomniac to honor the anniversary of their oldest festival.

For its upcoming edition, Nocturnal will take over Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino for the final time before moving to its new home in 2020.
