Ahead of his upcoming EP, Alameda 1000, Holly stopped by and dropped an exclusive Summer Sessions mix to celebrate a season that comes with the freedom of doing whatever you want!
Between making his debut Coachella appearance, opening up for Zeds Dead at Red Rocks, and playing EDC Korea, Portuguese producer Holly has had an incredibly packed summer. He has made a standout name for himself in both the bass community and hip-hop community in a short time. He’s relentlessly released song after song and has collaborated with the best in the scene.
Along with having a busy touring schedule, Holly found the time to release his Avenal 2500 EP on Deadbeats earlier this summer. He is now gearing up for yet another EP release. Coming on September 13, Alameda 1000 is a seven-track EP that combines Holly’s hip-hop expertise with his unique, bass production.
Two singles have already dropped from the EP that feature rappers A$AP TyY and Gunplay and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the release holds. In the meantime, Holly has gifted us with an exclusive guest mix to feast our ears on that is chock-full of IDs and some of his previously released tracks.
Take a listen to the mix below and read our interview with Holly to gain more insight into this impressive artist. Make sure to check out Alameda 1000 when it drops on September 13!

“”Even though summer is not my favorite season, I have always associated summertime with personal growth and a time where I learn a lot about myself. Growing up, summer vacation was the time of year where I spent more time alone or doing fun stuff with friends instead of being studying boring things at school surrounded by hundreds of other kids. There has always been this connection in my mind between summer and learning about life, mostly because of all the freedom that comes with the season to do whatever I like the most!”
