HVDES just dropped the massive, three-track Stand Alone Complex EP on Kannibalen Records that is brimming with electro elements and heavy bass.
Over the past few years, LA-based artist HVDES has been making some serious strides forward in the dance music scene. Carving out her own piece of the pie with releases like the Revelations EP and remixes of major tunes like Kaskade’s “Disarm You”, the ICON Collective graduate has also impressed with sets at Avalon Hollywood and more.
Now, she’s delivered an onslaught of her signature blend of electro and bass elements with the release of the Stand Alone Complex EP. Out now on Black Tiger Sex Machines’ Kannibalen Records, it features three heavy tunes that will keep listeners on their toes and left in a stunned-like state.

The EP kicks off with “Akuma” in an epic fashion as it kicks off with some drums before dropping into a bass-fueled onslaught that will have you looking for something to grab on to before it fully blows you away. Released as a single before the full EP, “Ghost.exe” sees HVDES collaborate with Crimson Child for a track that seamlessly blends glitchy goodness with a vocal that is eerie yet infectious. The EP comes to a close with “Human” which interlaces industrial, electro stylings with a vocal chop to create a tune that will have you thinking your AI has come to life and haunt you after that last second ticks away.
