This week’s Throwback Thursday brings us back to 2014 with the incomparable synth-driven adventure known as “Brain Went Ping”!

If you have been a close follower of the magnificent Michael Woods then I am sure you have been locked in with his new blooming alias venture, OFFAIAH. His new track “Somewhere Special” has got us dropping everything we are doing to hit the dance floor and has prepared us for the release of “Love Me” on Sonny Fodera’s Solotoko, set to hit the airwaves this Friday on June 14. We are so in love with his recent productions that we have decided to hit the rewind button and explore one of the best Michael Woods tunes out there. The intriguing peak hour masterpiece,  “Brain Went Ping“!

Released in 2014 on mau5trap, Michael Woods dived deep down into his bag of tricks to pull out a vision that would light up dance floors across the globe with a synth-soaked fire starter impossible to ignore. With the essence of progressive house deep down in its core, “Brain Went Ping” goes one step further to bond high octane tech energy to the sultry flow, culminating in a trippy experience that spun listeners into a frenzy.

Meant for the late night hours when the party is in its peak form, “Brain Went Ping” is that one track that ensures a chaotic response as it kidnaps the soul and drives the bodies to grind and sway to its hypnotic rhythm. The most addicting character trait of this track is the constant climb and fall of hollow and reverberating synth details that grab the eardrums with the sole purpose to pull you into the rabbit hole for eight minutes of delicious insanity! Always and forever one of the best tracks to ever emerge from Michael Wood’s wheelhouse, continue on to relive the energy!
