Vocal bliss and trance know-how combine into a beauty with “Drawn To You”!
When a vocal absolutely grabs you a decision to share that track has to be made. While the DJ in me holds this one close, I can’t keep the brilliant effort of Somna and upcoming vocalist Blu Eyes to myself. Out now on AVA, “Drawn To You” offers a soft pop-infused female vocal on top of a production benefiting from Somna’s talents.
The mainstream-focused trance tune offers plenty for peak time sing-along. Aggressive stabs join drums that remind me of the 2012 rise of main-stage house. The piano and bass work thoughout is outstanding; the first offers emotional moments drawing you in while the bass takes your hips and gently asks them to sway side to side. Blu Eyes steals the spotlight in a manner of refined vocal personas that grow from names like Haliene. I’m ready, because I’ve been drawn to you. Brilliant. – MyStro

Muzzy reminds us how good drum & bass can be with his newest single, “Horsepower.”
Unleash your inner animal as Muzzy’s newest single hits those drum & bass notes you didn’t know you liked. Muzzy brings a synth-ier version I wasn’t expecting with “Horsepower,” adding in some engine-revving soundbites to make this song even more intense and full of energy. This is one of those tracks that’ll get you hyped up for any event whether it’s to your next festival or a game of Rocket League. It doesn’t matter if you love or hate drum & bass: this track will have you fired up on the dance floor faster than a Ferrari. – Lisa

Josh Bailey sets our euphoria on overdrive with “Pari”!
With a focus on delivering futuristic trance heavy hitters and mood-setting progressive EDM, we enter the Josh Bailey era of soundwave domination. Representing his boundary-bending musical character, “Pari,” out now on OHM Music, takes us on a power-packed peak-hour crescendo of emotion that will leave even the most seasoned of trance addicts in awe and begging for more.
Straight out of the gate, you can feel the thump of the bass as a festive chant titillates the eardrums with spirited vitality. But the true magic unveils itself on the breakdown as “Pari” nods to the visionary locked within Josh Bailey, mischievously switching gears as it morphs into a main stage musical mammoth born from raw passion and crafted for the nights that leave us completely breathless! – Maria

Jessica Audiffred brings the energy on “Ghost Valley”!
Mexico City’s undisputed queen of dance music Jessica Audiffred is back with a two-track EP – Ghost Valley / Night Drive. “Ghost Valley” is the standout track of the EP, without a doubt. It’s an energetic, bouncy track that will have you getting out of your chair in an instant! – James

Brace yourselves for Emmit Fenn’s “Meteorite” impact!
Ever since Emmit Fenn released his debut album “Prologue,” I have been hooked on his sound. The Berkley producer’s ability and creative foresight to mix emotion-filled lyrics with hard-hitting drops and trap horns creates a unique and vibey sound.
His most recent single “Meteorite” begins with a deep synth build up before dropping into a trappy yet orchestral drop. The way every aspect of the track complements one other makes for a very balanced listen. The weird experimental sounds, heavy bass, and horns all combine seamlessly for another epic Emmit Fenn release. 2018 has already been a big year for the producer, but it doesn’t seem like there is any slowing down him down! – Zach

Minnesota heats things up with “Burn”!
After releasing “Final Frontier” and “Snake Charmer” earlier in the year, Minnesota is back and this time, he’s brought along some friends. For this track, Minnesota’s teamed up with Stylust and Gisto to deliver the ultimate song to light one up to. This song may be about marijuana, but trust us, you don’t need to smoke to appreciate this dub and reggae lovechild. Check out “Burn” out below! -Sydney

Lane 8’s “No Captain” gets a sensational remix by Dirty South.
Lane 8’s Little By Little is undoubtedly one of our favorite albums of 2018 so far, so it’s no surprise that we are absolutely loving the remixes of “No Captain” that dropped this week! The first remix pack includes two versions, but it’s the rework by none other than Dirty South that really has our ear. Taking the original and giving it a slightly darker twist, Dirty South employs a mellow guitar line, sweeping strings, and some gorgeous, starry synths to take us on a dazzling journey through the night. Give it a listen – you won’t regret it! – Erin
