Alexander Odden and Michael Parsberg, the two faces behind Pegboard Nerds, are renowned for their integration of multiple different styles, including dubstep, hardstyle, drum and bass, and so much more. If you know me, you know I can’t get enough of Dion Timmer, so this collaboration holds a special place in my heart. The track’s first half infuses both styles of Pegboard Nerds and Dion Timmer, creating a sonic arena likening the nature of a video game escapade. It’s an air-light swell of electrifying chirps that are sure to get your body jumping.

With little time to recover, the track accelerates into a brutal dubstep climax. Heightening bass trills similar to that of Dion Timmer’s VIP edit of “Down With Me” dominate our senses and throw us into full headbanging overdrive. The remainder of the track is a marvelous concoction of the zealous dynamism heard earlier in the tune and slowed bass wriggles, making “Escape” a wild ride to go on.
