Welcome to The Landing, EDM Identity’s weekly post highlighting fresh tracks you may have missed!

Since the introduction of streaming sites like SoundCloud, YouTube, and Spotify, as well as release mediums like Bandcamp available for artists to release on, new music is hitting us faster than ever. The abundance of releases can almost be overwhelming, as the tools for production and releasing music are easily accessible for anyone around the world. We know that it is a difficult task to keep up with every release from every artist, so we’re here to assist you with some gems that “land” in our inboxes. In every edition of The Landing, we intend to highlight some tracks that you may have missed, or perhaps shine a light on new music for you to fall in love with.

This week’s edition of The Landing features fresh tracks from Will Atkinson, Wolfgang Gartner, Tritonal, nanobii, Peking Duk, Afrojack, and Bonnie X Clyde!

Dogzilla - Without You (Will Atkinson Remix)
Will Atkinson gives the trance classic Dogzilla – “Without You” the uplifting remix it deserves

A contender for remix of the year, Will Atkinson released his perfected uplifting trance remix of “Without You”. The uplifting feeling of the track doesn’t take away from the original elements that made the song great, including the vocals and pounding synths. The breakdown in the track is perhaps one of the most beautiful melodies to come out this year.

This fresh new track from Wolfgang Gartner is a heater!

Wolfgang Gartner – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud

Anytime Wolfgang Gartner releases a new track it’s a good day. His style and sound has made him a respected icon in the electronic industry for over a decade. His most recent release, “Dubplate 99″, is everything you’d want and more from a Wolfgang Gartner track. After a steady buildup with the intro, the track transitions into a hard hitting and high energy drop. This track came in perfect time for the weekend because it’ll raise the energy of any room instantly.

Armin van Buuren feat. Josh Cumbee - Sunny Days (Tritonal Remix)

Get ready to bid the summer farewell with a wistful, progressive mood setter that takes all the best pieces of the original and flavors it up with just the right amount of Tritonal flair. Premiering on A State Of Trance, everything about the “Sunny Days” remix just feels so good, as the soft echoes and euphoric melody establish a brand new layer for what was already a fan favorite tune.

“I am really glad we got Dave and Chad (Tritonal) on board to work their magic on “Sunny Days.” Their rendition of the record is energetic, well built and just a super-interesting remix that got great response when I premiered it in my ASOT radio show last week. I am really glad we’ve been able to release this alongside the fantastic remixes of Mike Hawkins, Jay Hardway and Tom Swoon.”

With Tritonal’s impending Horizon Tour, that sees the duo joining forces alongside Seven Lions and special guest Kill The Noise, you can be assured that this track will find its home among an incredible array of dance music favorites. Had a rough week so far? This new tune from nanobii will help you GO THE DISTANCE!

nanobii – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud

If you’ve noticed an influx of hardcore genres lately… too bad and get used to it. Our Swedish friend nanobii keeps churning out new music left and right so I am going to keep sharing it! His latest masterpiece was inspired by the world of Walt Disney and features Lindsey Marie on vocals as they remix “Go The Distance” from the movie Hercules into an upbeat, kawaii-AF hardcore anthem. Plus, isn’t nano (real name!) just adorable? Heart eyes, nano, heart eyes!

Peking Duk remixes Lorde’s “Perfect Places”

Peking Duk – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud

Their first remix after only releasing original work over the past four years, the Australian duo Peking Duk has absolutely killed it with this remix of “Perfect Places”. A fantastic tune to close out your summer, this take on the track will not only impress those who love Peking Duk, but also grab the attention of Lorde’s fans as well. Peking Duk has dominated our eardrums this year with releases like “Fake Magic” and “Stranger”, which were well received by tastemakers and fellow artists alike. Stay tuned for our full interview with this duo, and stream the tune on SoundCloud below!

Afrojack releases music video for track “No Tomorrow”

Afrojack – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud

Teaming up with Belly, O.T. Genasis and Ricky Breaker, Afrojack has brought his fans around the globe yet another epic music video to groove with. Released alongside the track, which is currently available on digital platforms, the video brings with it a house party hip hop vibe which isn’t usually seen in the electronic music world. This changes with a twist towards the end, so make sure to watch the whole video!

BONNIE X CLYDE remix Adventure Club’s hit track “Gold”

BONNIE X CLYDE – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud

BONNIE X CLYDE have had a stunning year so far, and this remix of the beloved Adventure Club tune is just adding to their rise to superstardom. We first heard Bonnie sing the lyrics to “Gold” back in March at the Adventure Club & Friends Party during Miami Music Week, and couldn’t wait to see it get a full on release from them later this year! Check out our interview with this duo from back in January, and listen to their take on the track below!
