Krowdexx looks back on their past decade in the hardstyle scene, as well as their recent releases, new live shows, and more!
Rawstyle duo Krowdexx is a true anomaly in the scene. In a time when artists in the hard dance industry are making extremely distorted records for shock value, they rise above the rest by containing these rough elements into cohesive projects that serve as a bridge between raw, melodic, and more.
The past two years have proven to be significant in the duo’s career, filled with highlights such as signing to Aggressive Records, presenting new live acts like WE THE LOUDEST, and creating the Shutdown Festival anthem with Mish. This year also marks a decade since the Krowdexx project first arrived on the scene, evolving to become the faces, or masks, of the XTRA Raw sound.
With such a stellar career in the scene and recent momentum streak, we caught up with Krowdexx once again, and they opened up about their tenth anniversary, live projects like WE THE LOUDEST and Noisemakers with Sickmode, recent releases, and so much more! Make sure to stream their Shutdown Festival anthem, “ETERNAL PULSE,” on Spotify and read on for our full conversation!
Hey Krodwexx! Thank you for chatting with us again. You joined Aggressive Records shortly after entering the ICONS era, wearing new masks and bright clothes. Now that it’s been a few years and you’ve had some time to reflect, how has being with Aggressive Records helped you guys grow in your professional journey as Krowdexx?
Hello everyone, and thank you for having us again! We truly appreciate the opportunity. There have been some significant changes since our last conversation! Shortly after our first interview, we signed with Aggressive Records, and it has proven to be an excellent step forward in our career! Their support with each release has been invaluable, helping us further define our artistic identity and, as a result, expand our audience.
Congratulations on 10 years of Krowdexx! After such a crazy time in the scene, do you have any words of advice for other producers and artists who are looking to create a career just like you guys?
Thanks so much! If we had to give one piece of advice, it would be to stay consistent, produce every day if you can, and focus on building a strong brand identity that people can recognize easily. That’s truly the starting point. Once people know your sound and your style, everything else starts falling into place.
To celebrate a decade in the scene, you guys presented your first live act, WE THE LOUDEST, earlier this year. How does the creative process differ when you’re putting together this type of performance versus a normal Krowdexx set?
To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we wanted to push our sound to the absolute limit and take everything we’ve built as Krowdexx and amplify it. That’s the meaning behind WE THE LOUDEST. The creative process is much more intense. It’s not just about selecting tracks or mixing, but creating a complete sonic journey with customized modifications and visual elements to raise the bar for our sets.
At your WE THE LOUDEST performances, you guys have played lots of new music, including many edits of previous Krowdexx releases. Many fans are asking: Are you two ever going to release these edits as an EP or album?
We’ve seen the hype, and we really appreciate the love! Right now, we don’t have any official plans to release the edits; they’re exclusive for our WE THE LOUDEST (and sometimes normal) sets at the moment. But who knows? If the demand grows, we may consider putting something together in the future.

You also presented a new project with Sickmode called Noisemakers. How was Noisemakers created? Are there any serious plans for it, or will it remain just a fun project that you pursue from time to time?
Noisemakers started as a fun way to bring our energy together and push some boundaries in the scene. We’ve had a blast working on it so far, and yes, we’ve got some great ideas and plans in the works. So definitely keep your attention on it… There’s more coming!
This year has been packed with banging collaborations, including your most recent release with Mish, “ETERNAL PULSE” (Shutdown Festival 2025 Anthem). What conversations led to you and Mish officially being chosen as the anthem creators?
We have three collaborations with Mish already. It’s a good combination, and our workflow is very easy. I think [Shutdown Festival] asked us because of the hype of our other collabs. “ETERNAL PULSE” is an absolute banger. We’re really proud of this opportunity!
How did you two and Mish handle the creative responsibility of making the anthem for such an important event?
Making an anthem is always a mix of excitement and pressure; the expectations are high, and we want to create something that truly represents the event. But we’ve always had a strong connection with Mish, both musically and personally, so the creative process flowed naturally. We started with the vocals and the melody, and once we had that emotional foundation, the rest of the track came together smoothly.
This year, you also collaborated with Holy Priest for “Bass Powah.” Longtime fans of the harder styles know that hard techno and hardcore have similar beginnings, but what are your guys’ thoughts on hard techno and hard dance styles mixing as much as they have?
We actually love hard techno too! It brings a different (and sometimes old-school) kind of vibe that blends very well with rawstyle. These two styles complement each other, and we think the crossover has brought some fresh energy to the scene. Working with Holy Priest was super fun. He’s not only a talented producer but also a good friend of ours, so the collaboration came together naturally. In the future, you can expect other raw/hard techno tracks from us.
Thanks for chatting with us again, guys! I hope we get another 10 years of Krowdexx, and hopefully you end up in the US soon!
Thank you for the chat! Always a pleasure! Hopefully, we can see you all in the US very soon! Ciao Ciao!
