Lauren Mia Drops “Halcyon” Ahead of Label Launch in 2025

Lauren Mia’s latest single “Halcyon” takes listeners on a trip back in time and doubles as the name for her forthcoming label that’s set to launch in early 2025.

To say that Lauren Mia has had a busy few years would be an understatement. Prior to releasing her debut album, RE:BIRTH, in 2023, she had already been churning through massive appearances at festivals like Tomorrowland to bring her sound to the masses. Once that album dropped late last year, she went on a tour de force in 2024, taking the stage at Brooklyn Mirage and Zamna while expanding her international presence with tours in India, Europe, and more. But Lauren Mia wasn’t done yet.

Much akin to 2023, Lauren Mia dropped another massive release for fans to feast their ears on to close out the year, “Halcyon.” The latest creation from this techno mastermind sees her marry her forward-thinking approach and technical expertise with raw, ’90s rave aesthetic for a nostalgic, yet powerful ride.

The roots of “Halcyon” are planted in the experience she had in Berlin earlier this year, where she was consumed by old-school sounds that had been given a modern makeover. “I found it fascinating to hear these old-school trends resurfacing in the clubs and resonating with younger generations, which motivated me to infuse my own perspective into this revival,” she shared. “As a female electronic music producer and DJ, I aim to celebrate and reimagine the timeless spirit of that vibrant musical landscape with ‘Halcyon’.”

While “Halcyon” has landed on Armada Music sub-label Armada Electronic Elements, there will be a new home for Lauren Mia’s music. The rising techno phenom is set to launch a fresh label, also named Halcyon, in early 2025. While deeper details are yet to surface, the ’90s rave vibes that are dripping throughout the track are an indicator of the sounds that will land on the imprint in the future.
