Bristol-based dance music legend Jody Wisternoff’s third studio album, Welcome To My World, will be released on Anjunadeep in December.

As one of the pivotal figures to emerge from the UK rave scene in the ’90s, Jody Wisternoff‘s legacy precedes itself. Over the years, he’s done everything from playing iconic venues and festivals to releasing seminal tunes that continue to impact the current era of the scene. Add in his work with Nick Warren as Way Out West and co-curating the annual Anjunadeep compilation series, and you have the recipe for a truly remarkable career. Now, Jody Wisternoff is adding to his legacy by announcing his forthcoming album, Welcome To My World.

Welcome To My World, Wisternoff’s third studio album, will be released on Anjunadeep on December 6. The album’s 14 tracks will see the beloved artist explore his eclectic influences from his decades-long journey in the scene. Additionally, he’s teamed up with a dynamic range of artists to help bring these tunes to life, including Nox Vahn, bailey, Liu Bei, Sian Evans, Mimi Page, ALLKNIGHT, and more.

The lead single from the album, “Mui,” sees Jody Wisternoff enlist James Grant, PROFF, Takeshi Furukawa, and Siobhan Wilson as collaborators. It kicks off serenely with a subtle breakbeat that builds into a gorgeous soundscape that’s littered with soft elements and cinematic moments. The roots of “Mui” are in Furukawa’s “Shutdown,” which was originally composed for the Planet of Lana video game, and its vocals from Wilson inspired the creation of the fresh version.

That’s not all that Jody Wisternoff has in store for fans, as he’s set to embark on a global tour later this fall and in early 2025 that will take him to London, San Diego, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Belfast, Glasgow, Melbourne, Sydney, and more. Tickets for the tour are on sale now via Anjunadeep.

Listen to “Mui” on Spotify or your preferred streaming service, and pre-save or pre-order Welcome To My World before its release on December 6.
