Sultan + Shepard are merging three of their most acclaimed bodies of work into Circle In Time: The Trilogy, with eight new tracks to round out the project.
Sultan + Shepard have solidified themselves as forces to be reckoned with in the progressive and melodic house space. Over the years, the duo has made a home on Lane 8’s This Never Happened, producing three remarkable albums under the imprint. With each LP, they evolve into even more impressive storytellers and vibe-setters, and now they have announced a very special project to bring each story together for the first time.
Fans of Sultan + Shepard know just how special these bodies of work are, and for the duo, it felt like three different chapters to the same story. Something, Everything was planting the roots, Forever, Now expanded on that feeling with more freedom to flourish, and Endless, Dawn was the final piece of the beautiful unfolding. Circle In Time: The Trilogy is a project designed to honor this incredible creative journey with eight new songs that were made during this time but didn’t make the original cut.
The entire project is set to release on November 15, and their first single of the project, “Memories,” featuring The Kite String Tangle, is out right now. The tune is a warm, melodic melody with emotive and raw lyrics. When The Kite String Tangle reached out to Sultan + Shepard with his vocal sample last year, they were so blown away that despite Endless, Dawn already being finished, they knew it needed to be included. Paired with it is “Lima,” another gorgeous progressive house tune from the duo that will whisk you to an uplifted state of mind. If the other songs are anywhere near as beautiful as these, we are in for a real treat.
Listen to Sultan + Shepard’s “Memories” and “Lima” on Spotify or your preferred platform, and stay tuned for more exciting announcements about Circle In Time: The Trilogy in the coming weeks.
