Melodic maestro Jerro is gearing up for the release of his sophomore album on This Never Happened, Chromatic, with the release of its lead single.
Jerro has carved out significant space for himself in the hearts of progressive and melodic house lovers ever since he began to grace This Never Happened with his presence six years ago. During this time, he’s become a force to be reckoned with on the Lane 8-led imprint by releasing some of the most beloved originals and remixes while also becoming a frequent face at their curated shows. In 2021, Jerro dropped his biggest body of work to date, his debut album Coming Home, and now, three years later, he’s gearing up for his sophomore album on the imprint.
Things have changed a tad for Jerro since the release of his previous album, as he’s continued to explore the reaches of genres such as deep house, electronica, and more. That said, the emotional nature he brings to his music has continued to be present throughout, and his forthcoming album Chromatic will surely stir something up inside the souls of listeners.
While much of Chromatic‘s details remain mysteries that will be revealed in the coming months before its release on June 7, Jerro dropped off a taste of what’s in store with its lead single. “Forever” is out now across all platforms and is a gorgeous track that will help you shake off the winter chill as you get ready for the warmer months ahead. This immersive soundscape sees Jerro put his signature touch front and center with beautiful synths and cinematic elements that make it feel larger than life, bolstered further by the powerful vocals layered in for good measure.
Listen to “Forever” on Spotify or your preferred platform, make sure to pre-save Chromatic ahead of its release on June 7, and follow Jerro for more updates on the album.
