Hard dance lovers from near and far flocked to the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino last weekend to experience all that Basscon Bullseye! had to offer. This new, two-night affair from Basscon featured a plethora of hardstyle and hardcore artists, including the return of Showtek and the debut of HIVEMIND, but hard techno had its moment in the spotlight as well. DJs like Clawz and Diamond Dallas Tex, aka Lil Texas, pummeled the crowd with fast-paced tunes, but one of the standouts arrived from none other than Spency Be.
Spency Be has been carving out space for himself in the scene over the past few years as a DJ and producer while also helping bring some fantastic shows together under the AfterTraxx banner. Their takeovers at festivals like Escape Halloween have helped propel his career forward, and he just took the next step by opening the show at Basscon Bullseye! on Friday.
Not only did Spency Be race through some high-quality hard techno tunes to help energize everyone for the rest of the night ahead, but he also dropped in some surprises toward the end to showcase other genres he’s passionate about, hardstyle and drum and bass. Getting to hit the big stage for the first time at Bullseye felt like a major step forward in my artist career. Being able to go hard and not having to hold back in front of the Basscon and hard dance crowd I felt like I got to really showcase who I am as a artist/DJ. I’m gonna keep pushing and grinding harder than ever to continue to get put on the big stage and in front of bigger crowds.
