Lunar Tide is bringing Shades, Visages, Ternion Sound, Hamdi, The Widdler, and more for two nights of sound system music this December.
Chicagoland’s premiere underground festival, Lunar Tide, will return to the Lakehurst Event Center in Waukegan, Illinois, this year on December 1 – 2 with a perfectly curated lineup for bass music lovers. Thrown by NSW Presents, their team has stopped at nothing to bring the best names in the sound system scene to the area recently with their shows, and they’ve knocked it out of the park with this year’s list of artists set to perform.
Sitting atop the Lunar Tide lineup is Alix Perez and EPROM‘s collaboration known as Shades, alongside a mystery headliner who is still to be revealed. If a set from Shades wasn’t enough, EPROM and Alix Perez will also play solo sets, while fans of 1985 Music will be even more stoked on this lineup with the addition of Visages, who will be in the midst of their debut shows in the US. Even more dubstep will boom through Lunar Tide’s speakers with artists like Ternion Sound, The Widdler, Hypho, and Epoch, all of whom are sure to bring incredible performances to the stage.
Names like Anna Morgan, Hamdi, Bou, and Saka will undoubtedly bring a variety of styles and tempos for some changes of pace from all of the 140 goodness on the bill, as will Thought Process and Parkbreezy with their uptempo groove-infused flairs. The undercard doesn’t disappoint either, with appearances from up-and-coming talents like Tunic, Whom?, Nautical Divine, and Zentik. There are still at least two blurred names on the bill to be announced, so stay tuned for the rest of the lineup to be revealed.
Tickets for Lunar Tide are on sale now via The Ticketing Co, so be sure to grab yours if you plan on attending and stay locked into their socials for lineup updates and more.
