Rose Avenue Announces First Compilation With New Tune From Colyn

RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records dropped the details for their debut compilation and revealed the lead track, Colyn’s “Day 8.”

Those who have closely followed RÜFÜS DU SOL over the past few years have been treated to remarkable soundscapes from the trio, but that’s only part of their story. Their imprint, Rose Avenue Records, has also become a home for anyone hunting for quality tunes from emerging artists on the scene. While the label has featured singles, EPs, and albums over the past few years, a true compilation has yet to surface. Today, that changes with the announcement that the first volume of the Rose Avenue Compilation will arrive later this summer.

Due out on August 4, Rose Avenue Compilation will kick off this new series for the imprint as they feature ten tracks from familiar faces and fresh talent alike. This volume includes soundscapes from the minds of Modern Tales, Luke Alessi, Enamour, Sainte Vie, Township Rebellion and Victor Pilava & Roemisch, and HWIN, to name a few. But who better to introduce the collection than Colyn, a techno artist who has carved out a niche in the scene with stunners that have found a home on Rose Avenue.

Colyn channeled his innate production abilities to craft “Day 8,” a gorgeous melodic techno ride that fans have been yearning to see receive a full release as it’s been a staple in his sets. The track chugs forward as its entrancing elements wrap around your mind, leaving every ounce of control up to the whim of the Dutch producer as he guides you to a state of pure, unadulterated bliss.
