Hardwell, Skrillex, Boys Noize, Peggy Gou, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, and more are among the initial artists slated to play Ultra Japan this year.
Electronic music will dominate the speakers found at Tokyo Odaiba Ultra Park during the eighth edition of Ultra Japan when it returns on September 16-17. Following last year’s rebirth after a few spent on hiatus, the festival is fully back in action and ready to bring some of the biggest names in the dance music scene to the island nation in Asia. And to the delight of those who haven’t been able to attend in the past, this year will see the festival lower its age requirement and welcome anyone who is 18 years old and above.
The initial lineup for Ultra Japan is teeming with talented artists who have won over the hearts and minds of many in the scene over the years. This includes Skrillex and Boys Noize, who just dropped their highly-anticipated collaboration “Fine Day Anthem,” along with Hardwell, Peggy Gou, and DJ Snake. Jonas Blue and Sam Feldt’s Endless Summer project will make an appearance, and Axwell Λ Ingrosso is slated to perform as well.
Those drawn to the sounds of techno will be stoked to know that the RESISTANCE Stage will also return to Ultra Japan this year with a curated experience that will surely turn heads. Drumcode boss Adam Beyer will be out in full force, and he’ll be joined by other powerhouse artists such as Nicole Moudaber, Loco Dice, and Sasha & John Digweed.
Stay tuned for additional artists to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for Ultra Japan are on sale now. Head over to their official website for more details and let us know if you plan to attend on Twitter!
