Rollz Royce stopped by to fire up the grill and showcase his unmatched energy on a special Fourth of July edition of Paradigm Shift!
Rollz Royce is a California native who has been pushing the sounds of uptempo and USTEMPO over the course of many years. His unique ideas consistently push the hard dance genre forward, resulting in an actively engaged global fanbase. His love for the scene and music shines bright as he expresses that the “sound is getting better, and more people are starting to notice that! I really think all we are missing are consistent hard dance shows and festivals. We could have a really amazing scene over here!“
His journey into hard dance began back in middle school when he heard hardstyle for the very first time. Immediately, he became enamored with the melodies, the vibes, and the iconic kick drums. A few years down the line, Rollz Royce met BARE IT, who ended up teaching him how to produce music, starting off with big room house. However, hard dance was always in the back of his mind, so once he got the basics down, he moved into hardstyle full-time.
A trip to the Netherlands in 2017 for Defqon.1 Weekend Festival completely changed it all for him once again. After spending most of his time at the YELLOW, Rollz Royce developed a love for Frenchcore and uptempo. Frenchcore took over his project for a few years until he met Dragonfly (previously Oroto), who helped him make another detour into uptempo and USTEMPO. Among all of the producing changes, Rollz Royce has finally uncovered his true identity and has been able to craft his signature sound and style with no thoughts about looking back or stopping any time soon.
Before the proverbial rocket gets strapped onto Rollz Royce and he makes his way to the top among all of the stars, he stopped by to make his debut on our hard dance mix series, Paradigm Shift! This mix is the perfect way to celebrate the Fourth of July as Rollz Royce provided a lethal dose of pure American Hard Dance to fire up your grill or set off the fireworks today. Throughout the mix, you’ll hear fan favorites like his banging edits of “Meet her at the Loveparade,” “Vault,” and “Time To Shine” in addition to “Ayaya” and two secret IDs. This sonic journey perfectly highlights who Rollz Royce is, so get a taste of this hidden gem in the States and be on the lookout for his name, which will undoubtedly begin to dot lineups all over the country and beyond.
