Interstellar is bringing the minds behind Factory 93 and Dreamstate together for a techno and trance-fueled affair this August.
Update May 10: The official lineup for the debut edition of Interstellar has arrived, with Factory 93 and Dreamstate curating an insane list of artists set to perform. This includes Bob Moses, Lane 8, Maceo Plex, Sultan + Shepard, Yotto, Township Rebelion, Anden, Kasablanca, Mathame, Cristoph, Agents Of Time, and many, many more. Previously: Insomniac’s Factory 93 and Dreamstate have become well-known for bringing forth plenty of unique shows and festivals featuring top-tier artists ever since they both debuted in 2015. Factory 93 has dived deep into the subterranean realm of techno and Dreamstate has lifted its faithful followers up to the heavens with powerful trance soundscapes, but they might not be as far off from each other as they seem. As techno artists utilized trance elements and trance artists layered in sounds from techno, the two genres seem to inch closer to each other by the day, leaving many to wonder when an event from the two might take place. Enter Interstellar.
Interstellar is a collaborative event from Factory 93 and Dreamstate that will bring techno and trance artists to the stage at one cohesive event. Set to take place on August 19-20 at the LA Waterfront at Berth 46, this 21+ cosmic experience is one that fans of both genres will surely want to attend as they explore its expansive grounds and soak in the electronic sounds that will boom through its speakers. There will be no shortage of surreal melodies, booming basslines, and other surprises in store on this celestial voyage.
While the lineup is yet to be revealed for the debut edition of Interstellar, those wanting to blast off should consider grabbing tickets when they become available. Two-day GA passes for this event start at $139.99 (+tax and fees), while VIP passes begin at $229.99 (+tax and fees) for those who are looking to upgrade their experience with dedicated entry, exclusive food and beverage options, bathrooms, and viewing areas.
