Mousai's 'Audible Imagery' Paints a Beautiful Soundscape

**Emerging bass music artist Mousai takes a groovy, yet melodic approach on his brand new EP on SSKWAN, Audible Imagery.**

After wowing crowds with his downtempo sunrise set at Dancefestopia this past year, Mousai is stepping into the next stage of his career in 2023. Diving into the more chilled-out space, he joined SSKWAN in 2023 with his introduction on the label beginning in January with his single “Dreamscape,” as part of the inaugural SYNERGY compilation. Now, he’s returned to the imprint with his debut solo EP, Audible Imagery.

Audible Imagery is an ode to those who may be struggling and presents a gateway to connecting emotions through sound. The soulful and melodic textures and patterns found in the five tracks on this release are uplifting and evoke Mousai’s own emotions, with a focus on helping others making this body of work even more noteworthy.

These songs all come from a deep emotional place within myself. The purpose behind my music is to express myself and help people feel their emotions through music. If I can help make someone’s day better or brighten their mood It’s a beautiful thing and a great way to connect in an emotional way with the community.

Audible Imagery makes you feel like you’re floating in bliss and energetic beats. The lead track, “Audible Image,” sets the stage for the rest of the EP mixing emotion with comfort, and begins with a groovy, beat-filled track that eventually drops into psychedelic bass escape. Showing a sexy side, “Temporal Variation” is edgy and shows the variation in sound that Mousai brings along with his productions. Soon after, “Whirlwind” hits the highs and lows as it sends you through a whirlwind of emotions but maintains a sense of bliss throughout its runtime.

Shifting to the final half of the EP, “You Don’t Know” is an experimental melody filled with many different elements that will leave you wondering what will come next around every twist and turn. Closing the EP and keeping the positive energy at an all-time high, “Over” is a melodic masterpiece that evokes the feelings of getting past a tough time in life.

The Audible Imagery EP is an incredible representation of connecting emotions to art and exemplifying how powerful music can be. Not only does Mousai have an ear for creating mystical sounds, but he also has a heart of gold. Looking to give back to the community and present a safe space, he is presenting his inaugural audio/visual Planetarium series Ourania later this year, so stay tuned for news on that.
