When a festival is as successful as Imagine Music Festival has been in the last 2 years, the time will come when the party outgrows the venue. The only thing left to do is seek out a location that will perfectly cater to the doubling numbers of attendees that Imagine sees each year. And I am excited to announce that the location has been chosen and plans are in full swing to make this the biggest and best year yet!
The Atlanta Motor Speedway, located on 887 acres just 15 miles south of the airport will play host to this massive 3 day camping electronic dance music festival, August 26-28, 2016! It offers capacity for over 100,000 party animals per day, a perfect field for campers to lay their achy bones on after a full day of dancing, on site parking, over 100 RV spaces with full hookups, and everything you will need for the ultimate festival experience. With Imagine Music Festival taking the reigns that TomorrowWorld unfortunately couldn’t hold on to, the people at Iris Presents seem determined to make Imagine the most beloved festival in the state, if not the country. And they are well on their way. With over 5 stages including the main aquatic stage, live stage, house stage, DnB stage, and silent disco, festival attendees are going to get immersed into an electronic dance music fairy tale. Continuing the aquatic fairy tale theme, this new space will allow for more performers, live acts, rides, vendors, ceremonies, and workshops.
For me, the venue announcement literally gave me goosebumps. Reason being, there are two festivals that have touched my heart so deeply and have had a huge impact on my life. The first is the Electric Daisy Carnival, which much like Imagine, is a festival held at a speedway. The other is TomorrowWorld. TomorrowWorld 2013 was where I enjoyed my first festival camping experience and a weekend full of memories I will never forget. Imagine Music Festival is like a beautiful marriage of the two! An EDM camping festival held at a speedway! It literally can’t get much better than that! With a sick line up, a massive new location, camping grounds on site, and tickets at a reasonable $169 for 3 days, there is absolutely no excuse to miss this one.
