Falden Releases 'Stay / Elevate' on This Never Happened

Falden returns to Lane 8’s imprint This Never Happened with two emotion-fueled tunes, “Stay” and “Elevate,” in tow.

Falden might be one of the freshest faces to find a home among the growing This Never Happened family but has already begun to impress their faithful following. Last year, the Dutch artist made his debut on the imprint with the release of “Don’t Wanna Know” which led to his debut EP, One Day. Falden has continued on with his path in 2021 by landing a spot in the 16th volume of Anjunadeep’s Explorations compilation series with “So Far Away” that saw him team up with Diana Miro, while he graced Selected as well with “Hold You Back” featuring Dan Soleil.

Although things were quiet on the release front from Falden on This Never Happened this year, he’s found his way back home before the final month of 2020 takes hold with the release of Stay / Elevate. This two-track release sees the rising artist put his skills in the studio on full display. Lead track “Stay” is driven by its soft kicks and synths before making way for the powerful vocals that dominate the soundscape of the track. This one will warm your soul and make you want to dance the day away while you’re listening to it – simply put, this tune is pure melodic house bliss wrapped up in its short runtime.

Then, Falden takes listeners to even higher heights with the second track on the release, “Elevate.” Close your eyes when this one booms out of your speakers and you’ll instantly be transported to a new plane of existence as the soft vocal samples, guitar licks, and stunning beat guide the way. True to its title, this one is absolutely uplifting and is sure to get you grooving along with it in a matter of seconds.
