After launching the Track IDs playlists earlier this summer, Spotify has now added even more artists including Flume, ANNA, and more.
Back in August, Spotify announced their latest project centered around connecting artists with their fans, the Track IDs playlist series. Now, the behemoth streaming platform has continued to grow the co-curated series and announced an impressive second wave of artists that includes some of the top names in electronic music. This round of artists features movers and shakers in the dance music scene like Flume, ANNA, Boris Brejcha, Maceo Plex, Nina Las Vegas, and Jamie XX, among many others.
Each playlist sees artists and Spotify’s editorial team work together to share some of their favorite music and help listeners identify songs they hear during performances. Not only does this assist in building a connection between DJs and their fans during the pandemic when shows have been put on pause, but it also showcases the diverse tastemaking abilities that they bring to the table.
Whether you’re looking for new sounds in the realm of house and techno or chilled out and bassier beats, there’s plenty of fresh cuts spread throughout each playlist. Other artists who have joined in on the project include Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Maya Jane Coles, and &ME, who further bolster the debut lineup that saw the likes of Dixon, MK, Aluna, SHERELLE, and more lead the charge during the summer.
There are some serious gems within these playlists that are exclusively hosted on Spotify, so make sure to dive in and listen now. Check them out and let us know which artist crafted your favorite one in the comments!
